Hello Mommies and Daddies,
Did you enjoy your Memorial weekend? BBQ's, beaches, and tons of fun were the order of the weekend, but I hope everyone took at least a few minutes to think about the men and women who lost their lives in service to their country.
We all know that Memorial Day marks the beginning of my favorite time of the year, summer. Your little ones are off from school and they can shed their school uniforms and indulge in all of the fun clothes that kids were made to wear. I wanted to highlight one trend that is tailor made for your little flower girl, the romper. The romper is an ideal clothing style for your little darlings because it is easy to wear and kid friendly. I wouldn't recommend for the super ones that may have not mastered their potty training skills, because it is one piece, but for your older one's it's perfection. Adults enjoy the romper because it is coquettish and reminiscent of childhood apparel. It's great for kids because the romper is the whole outfit. No need to fuss with matching shirts and shorts or skirts. It's also a cute mix between skirts and shorts because it is has the shape of the shorts but the looseness and ease of a skirt. It has girlish appeal, but good for playtime so that your little flower girl doesn't accidentally flash all the kids and parents at the park. For summer I suggest super bright and saturated colors. I also love the rompers that have appliqued bows and flowers on them to add an extra touch of fun.
Hairstyle for the rompers would definitely be a pony tail with a cute bow.
My flower girl dress pick of the week:
I love love the Ivory and Pink Flower Girl Dress with Floral Bodice item J1420G-IVY. Why you may ask. It takes a simple and sweet ballerina silhouette and adds amazing details like the pink flowers popping off the dress in 3D. It's sweet without being over the top and cavity inducing. Best of all, it's on sale! Bridal Bee loves a good deal and I'm sure you do too. So get them while they're hot.
